Joe Deal (1947-2010) has passed away. He was an amazing photographer. His 1975 exhibition “Photographs of a Man-Altered Landscape” was by many considered to be groundbreaking for American photography. He had a beautiful eye; he made you fall in love all over again with black and white photography.
